Upon completing this step, they undergo an initiation ceremony to become prospective members.
Introduction to the Third Order, Sisters of Our Lady
The Third Order of the Sisters of Our Lady (of Perpetual Help) is a third order of women who live in the world while embodying the founding charism and spirituality of the Congregation. Dedicated to the sanctification of both the Church and society, these spiritual sisters walk alongside the nuns in faith, deepening their commitment to prayer and service. Inspired by the life and virtues of the Virgin Mary, they strive to build holy families and radiate God’s love in their daily lives.
Steps and Requirements for Becoming a Member of the Third Order of Our Lady

예비회원기회칙,기도서 수여 | They receive the community’s rulebook and prayer book. |
준회원기Prospective members who have attended the monthly offering day for at least six months are eligible for associate membership. 단복 착복식, 신약성경 수여 | They participate in a formal ceremony, during which they receive the community uniform and a copy of the New Testament. |
(첫서약)After completing at least 12 monthly offering days as an associate member, candidates may take their first vows. | Upon this commitment, they receive a Our Lady of Perpetual Help plaque. |
유기서약기Members remain in the stage of temporary vows as they continue their journey of formation before making perpetual vows. | |
(종신서약)Members who have attended the monthly offering day at least 40 times since their first vows may make their perpetual vows. 반지 수여 | A ring is bestowed upon them as a sign of their lifelong commitment. |

Fellowship and Compassion
The Members support one another by visiting sick members and offering comfort to grieving families. This includes visiting the homes and funeral services of deceased members.

A prayer life that lifts up the hearts, seeking the intercession of the Blessed Mother of Perpetual Help, who, through her participation in Christ’s work of salvation, serves as our guide on the path of faith.
Mission and Support Activities
Committed to acts of charity, the Sisters extend support to those in need. This includes assisting in the foundation and apostolic work of the Blessed Mother of Perpetual Help Congregation and helping neighbors in various ways.
