41SPECIAL STORYone room together in a missionary building. Every morning we trudged to the very top of the hill overlooking Lima already sweating from the walk alone, and worked tirelessly to build a house for the family of Se%u00f1or Fredo, Se%u00f1ora Emilia, and their children. I can only thank God for giving us the strength and perseverance from the start to see this through together, as it was very tedious and muscle aching work. From every single nail that was hammered to every single plank painted, our group worked extremely hard to ensure that this loving family could have a haven they could call home. Somewhere they could sleep together, eat together, and live as a family which many of us take for granted. By the end of the week, we finally raised the house, and as the priest blessed the house, I believe at that moment we witnessed a true testament of the strength a man can have by the Love of God. In front of an entire congregation, the father on the verge of tears thanked us individually from the bottom of his heart on behalf of his family. That will stay with me for a lifetime, and I then realized that the missions we do are entirely worth every moment because no matter how small or short they feel, we can truly impact someone%u2019 s life and the lives of those who they care about. Another memorable part of our mission trip was the emphasis on prayer. Like many others I%u2019 m sure, waking up at dawn to recite prayers and attending mass at 6 in the morning is not usually how I start my Mondays. I frankly must admit, prayer has always been something of a weakness in %uc0c8%ubcbd%ubb35%uc8fc %uae30%ub3c4 %ud6c4 %ube44%uc57c %ube45%ud1a0%ub9ac%uc544 %uae09%uc2dd%uc18c %ubc29%ubb38
